Lance Soders is the CEO of H.E.L.P. (Helping to Educate and Learn Properly); an educational program that offers tutoring, mentorship, homeschool diploma assistance, and career readiness. These programs are geared to teaching fundamentals and creating a foundation that will build confidence in each student to become successful in all their endeavors. Lance is a graduate of Prairie View A & M University, where he receives a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He also has his Master in Business Administration. After Graduation, he experienced his first teaching moment with Pre-K 4 children. In that role, he excelled at teaching the kids to read and to add before reaching kindergarten. He left teaching to pursue a career in Engineering with S & B engineers as a Mechanical Engineer. Lance learned not only mechanical technique and project engineering but realized he had a gift for taking information and explaining it in its simplest form. He left the Engineering sector after about 12 years and went into teaching for Fort Bend ISD. Once he finished his first year of teaching, he discovered his love and passion for educating children. He started to use his in-depth knowledge of problem-solving and critical thinking and apply it to a level where kids could understand and apply it themselves. Lance’s methodology has helped to generate not only great test scores on the standard test but creating a foundation and fundamentals for kids to understand Mathematics. He has over 20 years of educational experience. He is a passionate, determined and hardworking individual who seeks joy in helping others to believe they are and can be the best.
